Warsaw Management University is one of the oldest private universities in Poland. About 80.000 Polish and international students have graduated from it since its foundation over 20 years ago.

The University offers full-time and part-time courses in 10 fields for undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. WMU is known for its highly qualified and experienced research and teaching staff.

Our educational offer meets the needs of the changing job market and expands its courses accordingly. The University also cooperates with other higher education institutions all over the world, including universities from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, Belgium, USA, France, Germany, Great Britain and Russia.

The University actively participates in Poland’s social and economic life, organizes numerous conferences, including international ones, supports charitable and sports activities, is a patron of culture. The following organisations and offices actively operate at the University: Student Self-Government, science groups, Graduate Club, Career Office and University Sports Association.

CAMPUS

The WMU campus is one of the most advanced academic facilities in Poland and covers over 30000 m2 of the area. The University is located near the transport hubs (East Warsaw Railway Station and Warszawa Wileńska Railway and Metro Station) which provide quick access not only from the other districts of the capital city but also convenient connections with other cities in Poland. There is also Kawęczyńska- Bazylika tram station just next to the University.

Besides the rich scientific and educational infrastructure, the WMU campus includes:

The Warsaw Management University has a student dormitory with approx. 300 places in single, two-, three-, four-person rooms as well as suits with en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms have access to the Internet, kitchen and laundry.

SPORTS CLUB

WMU Sports Club of the University Sports Association (AZS) organises activities in various sports sections: football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball etc.

Our students are very successful in sports. The WMU volleyball players have won the Polish University Championship many times. In 2017 among the non-public universities the WMU volleyball team won the Polish University Volleyball Championship once again. The WMU team was ranked 9th place in Poland (Category: public and non-public universities).

LIBRARY

The library collects and provides a wide variety of books from different academic fields to the WMU students, researchers, teaching staff and administrative employees. Currently, the collection comprises more than 50,000 volumes. Students can read both the brand new publications as well as older ones from the eighteenth and nineteenth century. The library also gives access to the online resources of the free databases of the Virtual Science Library. The WMU library offers dedicated classes for first-year students and organizes meetings entitled “Individuals of the world of science and culture” with recognized professionals and specialists from different fields.

PUBLISHING HOUSE

WMU Publishing House, previously known as the WMU Printing House, was created in 1998-1999 with initiative of prof. Leszek J. Krzyżanowski. During several years of activity, over one hundred scientific publications were published, for example scientific essays, coursebooks, scripts, scientific researches and scientific journals – “Studies and Materials” and “Scientific notebook”.

Now, WMU Publishing House focus on publishing academic coursebooks and monographies in management, marketing, social science and many more. The offer was also broadened by scientific papers published by university’s departments – “Social studies”, “Management. Theory and Practice”, “Law and Administrative Studies”, “Science. Economy. Society” and “Students’ Scientific Forum”.

The goal of the publishing house is providing students with teaching aids and promoting WMU’s academic achievements.
