PAYMENT FOR TUITION FEES

The amount of semester fee payment for all the Bachelor’s degree studies: 1250 Euro.

The amount of semester fee payment for all the Master’s degree studies: 1500 Euro.

Students could pay for the one semester as well as for the full next academic year. In this case, in the title of payment must be mentioned related information.

The account number below is ONLY for semester fee payments. All payments for fees must be ONLY in Euro. To avoid losing money, the transfer you send must be sent from Euro bank account.

If you are going to send the money from bank account in zloty, university bank will recalculate your transfer at its own currency rate, and as a result university bank will receive a completely different amount than what you sent.

In the title of payment must be mentioned student ID number as well as full name and for which semester the payment is.

Semester fee payment could be done at the university casher as well. The casher accepting payments only in cash(PLN/Euro). For more information, please contact your groups supervisor at the Dean’s office.

Please keep in mind that the payment for Student ID card should be made for your individual bank account number in PLN currency. Payment for student card could be done at the university casher as well. The casher accepting payments only in cash (PLN/Euro). For more information, please contact the Dean’s office.

Important information regarding student ID cards

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science of February 25, 2021, a temporary limitation of the operation of certain entities of the higher education and science system was introduced in relation to the prevention, counteraction and combating COVID-19. From the moment the restriction is lifted pursuant to Art. 51b paragraph. 4 of the Act – Law on Higher Education and Science, during the period of suspension or limitation of the functioning of universities and for 60 days after its termination, student ID cards and academic teachers’ ID cards are valid, without the need to confirm their validity. This provision also applies to cards that expired within 30 days preceding the limitation or suspension of the university’s operation. Similar regulations regarding the validity of doctoral student ID cards are included in Art. 198b of the Act – Law on Higher Education and Science.

This means that the ELS, which expires on March 31, 2021, continue to be valid without the need to extend it at the Teaching Service Center.

Benefits for foreigners

in the academic year 2022/2023

A foreigner, within the meaning of Polish law, is any person who does not have Polish citizenship. Persons who have both a Polish passport (citizenship) and a passport of another state or several other countries are, by operation of law, treated in the territory of the Republic of Poland as Polish citizens.

Foreigners who undertook education under the provisions of the Act of 27 July 2005 – Law on Higher Education, and the recruitment for the 2018/2019 academic year was conducted on the basis of the provisions of this Act, are entitled to financial assistance on the basis of the existing rules specified in this Act. Act, until the completion of a given level of study (first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies or uniform master’s studies).

The rights under Art. 324 of the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, are available only to foreigners admitted to studies under the provisions of the new act, i.e. starting from the 2019/2020 academic year.

 

MAINTENANCE GRANT

The following foreigners can apply for maintenance grant:

  • have a permanent residence permit or are long-term EU residents,
  • have a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in Art. 159 sec. 1 or art. 186 paragraph 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act on foreigners,
  • have the refugee status granted in the Republic of Poland or enjoy temporary protection or subsidiary protection on the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  • have a certificate confirming the knowledge of Polish as a foreign language at least at the C1 language proficiency level,
  • have a Pole’s Card or a decision confirming Polish origin,
  • are a spouse, ascendant or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, living on the territory of the Republic of Poland
  • have a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in Art. 151 paragraph. 1 or art. 151b paragraph. 1 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, or are staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland in connection with the use of short-term mobility of the researcher under the conditions specified in art. 156b paragraph. 1 of this Act or have a national visa for the purpose of research or development work.

Foreigners entitled to apply for social scholarships, submit documents constituting the basis for establishing the right to the scholarship, translated into Polish by a sworn translator within the meaning of the Act of 25 November 2004 on the profession of sworn translator (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2016, . item 1222, as amended) (it cannot be a translator from Ukraine or other countries). If a foreign student (or his parent) stayed in Poland in the tax year preceding the academic year, he or she submits a certificate from the Polish Tax Office and a certificate of income from Polish employers. In the event that students do not settle accounts with the Tax Office, they submit a certificate from the Tax Office that they did not submit a tax declaration. The above-mentioned foreign students may also apply for a student loan.

All foreigners undertaking and pursuing studies in Poland are entitled to apply for other types of financial assistance benefits, i.e .:

  • an allowance
  • a special scholarship for people with disabilities
  • Chancellor’s Scholarship
  • Minister’s Scholarship

CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP

 

Chancellor’s scholarship for the best students may be awarded to a student who obtained outstanding academic results for the year of studies, has scientific, artistic or high sports achievements in international, national, – inter-university or university competitions. Outstanding results in science should be understood as a high average grade determined by the Chancellor of the University

Scientific achievements should be understood as:a) active work in the research club, i.e. significant studies or papers not included in the curriculum, confirmed by the supervisor of the research club,b) participation in scientific and research works, confirmed by the project manager,c) confirmed scientific cooperation with other academic or research centres, including foreign ones,d) periodic publications in publishing houses of institutes, universities and others e.g. of MANS in Warsaw, etc.e) active participation in scientific conferences, i.e. delivering a paper or presentation,f) 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in competitions.

Artistic achievements should be understood as obtaining by the student the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in competitions and festivals. High sports results should be understood as obtaining by the student the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in international, national or inter-university competitions.

The Chancellor’s scholarship for the best students may be awarded to a student who meets the following conditions:· has completed at least the first year of first-cycle studies or is studying in the first year of second-cycle studies commenced within the calendar year of completing the first-cycle studies;· passed all subjects within the first prescribed period and obtained unconditional registration for the next academic year;· obtained an average of at least 4.75 for the previous academic year;· by the end of the academic year, he / she has fulfilled all the conditions provided for in the Study Regulations, as well as the study plan and curriculum, required to complete the year of study in a given field of study.

Chancellor’s scholarship for the best students are awarded to no more than 10% of the number of students out of 100% in a given field of study.

In the event of several students applying for the rector’s scholarship for high grade average, scientific or artistic achievements of the same final grade average, which will not allow for the designation of 10% of the group of students eligible for this scholarship, the date of submission of the application will be decisive.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student with a disability confirmed by a decision of a competent authority and is granted for the period of validity of the certificate confirming the disability, but not longer than for the academic year.

ALLOWANCE

The allowance may be granted to a student who, because of unusual circumstance, finds himself in a temporary difficult life situation:

• An accident.

• Serious illness of the student or his / her immediate family members.

• Death of the closest family members if, as a result of their death, there was a significant deterioration in life conditions.

• Theft or destruction of property through no fault of the student (the report must be documented within 14 days from the date of the event).

• Other unusual circumstance that significantly affects the deterioration of the life situation (e.g. natural disasters).The application for the circumstance allowance should be submitted immediately, but not later than within 90 days from the date of the event entitling to granting the benefit.

Moreover, foreign students may apply for a scholarship financed by a local government unit, a scholarship for academic or sports results financed by a natural person or a legal person other than a state or local government legal entity. Foreign students apply for benefits on terms applicable to Polish citizens, specified in the Regulations on determining the amount of benefits and on payment of material aid benefits for full-time and part-time students of the Management Academy of Applied Sciences in Warsaw.

ATTENTION

Material assistance benefits:

Provision of material assistance:

1. are entitled to first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies and uniform master’s studies for a total period of 12 semesters, regardless of their receipt by the student, on condition that within this period, the benefits are granted to the following studies:

a) first cycle – not longer than 9 semesters,

b) second cycle – not longer than 7 semesters.

2. is not entitled to a student with the professional degree of:

a) MA, MSc or equivalent,

b) BA, BSc or equivalent if he resumes first-cycle studies.

3. the period of 12 semesters, referred to in point 1, includes all semesters commenced by the student, including semesters during the period of study leave, with the exception of semesters for subsequent first-cycle studies commenced or continued after obtaining the professional title of BA, BSc or equivalent. In the case of studies in several fields of study, the semesters taken simultaneously are treated as one semester.

4. The provisions of point 2 apply to persons holding professional titles obtained abroad.Foreigners who:

• have a residence card with the annotation “access to the labour market” or a Schengen visa or a national visa issued for the purpose of performing work in the territory of the Republic of Poland,

• are citizens of European Union member states, European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) member states – parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation and members of their families who have the financial resources necessary to cover the cost of living during their studies and undertake studies on different terms than those applicable to Polish citizens, are not entitled to a social scholarship or a special scholarship or allowance.
